Pre-season wrestling Tournament.

The first leg of the Championship Series begins with the Pennsylvania National Kickoff Classic (November 9, 2008) at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, followed by the Chartiers Valley Christmas Classic (December 6, 2008), North Allegeny Young Guns Open(January 3, 2009), and concludes with the North Hills Open Tournament (January 10, 2009). All four tournaments in the championship series are Pennsylvania Top 100 Tournaments.

Any wrestler to win all four tournaments in the series will be crowned a Pennsylvania Grand Slam Champion and will be presented with a very special award at the conclusion of the final Championship Series event following the North Hills Open on January 10, 2009. This series is open to all Pennsylvania and out-of-state wrestlers.
